The brothers were ecstatic to be announced as the first Youth Ambassadors for the Diana Awards. On Wednesday 9th of October the brothers were guests of Prime Minister David Cameron at 10 Downing Street reception - where they presented Sham Mamoun, a teenager from Syrian who has dedicated her life to ending the unrest in Syria, with the 40,000th Diana Award.
The Diana Awards were set up as a lasting legacy to Princess Diana’s belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better.
Gandys were honored to be invited by Their Royal Highnesses the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry to Buckingham Palace for the launch of The Queen’s Young Leaders Programme.

In June 2014 Rob was invited back to Brockenhurst College where he previously attended. He was awarded the Prestigious Association of Colleges (AoC) Gold Award by Lord Willis of Knaresborough at the House of Commons.
